Restrict to issue simcard/line phone without your permission in South Korea

 

Mobile phone scam has been increased a lot in South Korea nowadays. Your ARC might be misused to issue a sim card or a line phone. I also faced such a problem once. I received an SMS saying a sim card has been issued using my document. I was shocked. After a few phone calls, I came to know the sim card was issued from the shop where I bought my mobile device.

Are you also facing a similar problem?  I have brought a solution to this. Follow these simple instructions and restrict to issue of any sim cards/line phones in Korea.

You need to import your digital certificate to the PC for this. Click on the link below for the procedure to import the digital certificate.

After you import the digital certificate, log in to msafer from the link below or type msafer.or.kr in your browser. 

Click here to proceed, 

Note: This link works only with Internet Explorer and Naver.

Go to 가입제한서비스.

Choose 전체 and then click on 가입제한. Now you restricted to issue sim cards/line phone.

You can also activate the e-mail service from 이메일안네서비스. After you activate this service as soon as a sim card/line phone is issued you will be notified by e-mail.  

If you want to issue a phone, you need to remove the restriction first. To remove the restriction go to 가입제한서비스 again. Choose 전체 and now click on 제한해제.
