퇴직금 EPS ID/PW Frequently asked questions.

Most of the EPS(Employment Permit System) workers in South Korea forget their 퇴직금 EPS Id and password. Before leaving Korea logging into EPS Id is necessary to check 퇴직금. Not only 퇴직금, but this ID is also used to see the current working status, messages during transferring the company, insurance, and many more. 

 Most people get confused about the EPS ID created before working in Korea and the EPS ID created after starting employment here in Korea. So, I will try to give answers to the frequently asked questions about EPS ID.

1. Difference in EPS ID created in the home country and in Korea?

Ans. Home country: When you pass the EPS TOPIK you create the EPS ID to check your results. This ID is used to check your test scores and further processes like an Employment contract, CCVI, Flight date, Training, etc. Your home country facilitates this.

    Korea: When you complete 2 nights and 3 days of training in Korea, you will be given an EPS ID. This ID is totally different from the ID that you created before arriving in Korea. It is facilitated by EPS HRD, Korea. You can check current working status, 퇴직금, etc.

2. Can we check 퇴직금 using the EPS ID that we created after the TOPIK result in the home country?

Ans. No.

3. How can we recover if we forget both the EPS ID and Password?

Ans. You can easily recover/reset yourselves using any of your smartphones.

4. Can we recover ID/Pw using any e-mail address or phone number?

Ans. No, You can reset only by using the e-mail address/phone number that you have registered in that ID. But the password of the  EPS account of your home country can be reset by using any e-mail address.

5. Can we change the personal info later?

Ans. You can change the e-mail address, phone number, and password only. 

6. I don't remember the registered e-mail address and lost the phone number. Now, what can I do to reset/recover the account?

If you do not have the registered e-mail address or phone number, you can reset using the password hints that you saved during account creation. You might have chosen security questions like 아버지 성함(name of your father), etc. 

    If you do not remember any of the security questions then you have the last option to reset your account. You can call the help center for ID/Password recovery.
