How to reset ID/PW of EPS TOPIK Account (before working in korea)?

EPS Introduction

South Korea offers employment under Employment Permit System (EPS) to 16 listed countries. The system helps Korean employers who can not hire local manpower for their companies. Not all can be the part of Employment Permit System. One should be under the following criteria to be selected to work in South Korea.

Criteria

• Age: 18 to 39 years
• not involved in any criminal activities
• no past records of deportation under the order of the Republic of Korea
• the person who is not banned to travel in his/her country
• the person who is selected in the merit list in EPS TOPIK Exam
• the person who fulfills all the eligibility criteria decided by both the countries

Procedure

Even the candidates pass the EPS exam, a job in Korea is not guaranteed. You need to go through documentation/visa processes after the selection. Job application, roaster making, physical and mental fitness, etc determine the job in Korea. All the ongoing procedures can be checked in the EPS account registered on the official website of EPS Korea

Forgot EPS ID and Password 

Are you planning to go to South Korea for employment? If you are reading this article I guess you have passed the EPS TOPIK and you are busy with further processing. And you have lost either your ID or Password or both. No worries, I've got a solution for this.

To reset you need to go to the official site of eps Topik (www.eps.go.kr). You may be redirected to the Korean page. So, you will need to click E9 on the left-hand side for the mother tongue site. (Ignore if any ads are shown.) Then follow these simple steps:

(Same procedure works for the blocked ID too.)

1. Choose your country flag and then click on "GO". Always do this job in your country language.

2. Click on Find ID/PW

Two columns are for ID reset. Fill them as shown below:

3. Enter your EPS Topik ID number in the first box: 

  country code exam year P symbol number:- for PBT

  country code exam year C symbol number:- for CBT

  For example: 0062017P12345678.  Here 006 is the country code for Nepal. 2017 is the exam year. P is the symbol for PBT and the rest is the symbol number provided in your admission card.

4. Enter your passport number in the second box. 

5. After entering all details, click on the first option(find id).

 If you have entered all details correctly, you will get your ID. In the case of PC users if the language format is not supported you should copy the given ID and paste it to MS. word. and convert its font into English. In the case of mobile users if the font is not supported just long-press on it trying to copy. Google will show your ID.

To reset the password  Just follow these simple steps:

1. Enter your EPS ID in the first box.

2. Enter your eps TOPIK registration number as mentioned above in no.3

3. Enter your passport number.

4. Now click on find password.

Now you will be redirected to another page. You need to enter your e-mail address and submit it. You will receive your new password in your e-mail ID.  It may take a few minutes to a few days to receive the mail. 

 You can also reset your ID/PW using the other two options which include the date of birth. The format of the date of birth should be YYYYMMDD (without giving any space or -). For example 19930518.
