Most of the immigrants in Korea forget both the username and password of the EPS account. Too many failed attempts can block your account. So avoid too many failed attempts. Follow this simple procedure to recover your account:
1. Dial 1577 7114 (help center) working days 9:00am-6:00pm only
2. listen to the instructions carefully then press 4 in your keypad
3. As soon as the counselor receives say "eps id 하고 비밀번호 몰라요". ( eps id haago phimil banho mol laayo)
4. You will be asked 외국인 등록번호( number of your Alien Registration Card/ID card)
5. you need to give your 여권 번호 (passport number) too.
6. The counselor will also ask your 국적 (nationality/country) and 연락처 ( contact number/mobile number ) that you are using in Korea.
7. Finally you will get your eps id and password through SMS.
